We'll cross the magnificent Golan Heights along portions of the newly designated Golan Trail with walks /hikes / treks suitable for three different levels of challenge. Click here for full itinerary.

Tuesday, December 6. At 3:45 in the afternoon we will meet at the Melabev center in Talpiot - 152 Derech Beit Lechem - for distribution of our T-shirts and last minute details before we depart for the Moonlight Walk. We will board the buses for Mitzpe Yericho, where we will walk along two different paths - one will be an easier stroll and one will be somewhat more challenging. Both culminate at a meeting point where we will enjoy a barbeque feast together. Socialize with veterans of past Walkathons and meet new people. The ambience is warm, relaxed and friendly and the food tantalizing.

The buses transporting the Walkers who only signed on for the Moonlight will return to Jerusalem by approximately 9:30 p.m.

The hikers registerd for the Golan Hike will board the buses heading north.

Wednesday & Thursday, December 7 - 8: Two days of hiking in the Golan over magnificent terrain with fantastic views. Overnight accommodations at Midreshet Hispin; food and activities will be provided. Click here for a full description of the Golan Hike.

Proceeds will go towards building the new Beit Melabev - Center for Alzheimers Care in Jerusalem and helping the Beit Shemesh day center in their move to new quarters.

Send your Registration Fee - only $100 - to hold your place for the Golan Hike.

For the Moonlight Walk ONLY

There is no Registration Fee for the Moonlight Walk – only these donations / sponsorships commitments:

600 NIS/ Adult

350 NIS/ Child (18 and under)

Send your donations or sponsorships for the Moonlight by November 15th

For the Full Walk (the Moonlight Walk plus the Golan Hike)

Send $100 plus commitment to raise sponsorships by Nov. 15th to secure your registration.

Sponsorships expected of each person on the Golan Hike for Alzheimer's Care:

$1500/ adult

$2500/ couple

$750/ child (18 and under)

$1000/ student (19 and over)

50% of sponsorships / donations must be received by December 1. The balance due by December 31. (For 2011 tax receipt the funds should reach our offices by mid-December. Donations arring later will receive tax receipts valid for 2012.)
