What better way to welcome the month of Nissan than a visit to the matzah factory? On March 26, 2009 (Rosh Chodesh Nissan), Melabev members were delighted to visit Beit Knesset Feigenson for a lesson in matzah baking and actual hands-on experience at making their own lechem oni.
Guided by David Stern and welcomed by the girls from the Lehava program, the seniors spent the morning making matzas to take home for themselves and their families.
The outing also included a relaxing picnic in the Nofei Aviv park where a special bagel and cream cheese breakfast was enjoyed before saying goodbye to chametz until after Pesach. A big thanks goes to the staff of Café Bagel's B'rama for their gracious donation towards the picnic breakfast.
