Melabev has joined forces with the telephone hot-line 109 to give telephone reassurance and a helpful hand to elders in the community - especially important for those who are alone or who are becoming forgetful. The service includes the following for those who sign up:
-A daily phone call checking on the elders well being.
-Guidance dealing with the governmental authorities.
-Home visits by volunteers.
-Help in obtaining needed equipment.
-Help finding volunteers to aid with shopping.
-Medical pedicure, and haircutting service for a small fee.
-Small home repairs ( by appointment).
