Years ago the word Alzheimer's disease was never heard. Now it is a problem that affects millions of people around the world and can be seen in newspaper headlines in many different languages. Researchers from all disciplines are trying to add to the body of knowledge on this devestating disease in the hope of improving the quality of life of the people suffering from its effects and their family caregivers. -The American Alzheimer's Association has a great virtual library service on their website including access to many databases.

- ADEAR - Alzheimer's Disease Education and Referral center& library service lets you search on-line their collection of 8,500 materials related to Alzheimer's disease.

-Alzheimer's Research Forum is primarily geared to researchers but caregivers can find information there as well.

-Alzheimer's Daily News - brings abstracts of updated information on Alzheimer's disease in an easy to read form. Easily searchable as well.

-Google Scholar -Provides a search of scholarly literature across many disciplines and sources

-Melabev-Leader in Alzheimer's care- Has many articles in English and Hebrew related to care of the person with Alzheimer's disease.

-EMDA-Alzheimer's Association of Israel (IAA)- has many articles geared for caregivers and professionals.
