For the first time ever! Courses on Aging in English are being given by the Institute of Studies in Aging of Melabev and Shaare Zedek run by Leah Abramowitz. This is an opportunity for English speaking professional in the field of aging to benefit from the unique courses given by this upstanding institution. This year three courses as well as a three day study tour are being offered in English.
Another new feature this year: A Study Day (Yom Iyun) on Alternative Medicine for the Elderly
1. Understanding the World of the Elderly - a basic course on the physiology, sociology, psychology and services for the elderly 10 sessions
Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 13:00
Cost: 800 shekel for professionals and interested laymen
2. End of Life Issues - learning to cope with death and dying
Depending on registration, this course will be offered after Pesach
Sunday afternoon from 13:30 – 19:30 10 sessions
Cost: 750 shekel

3. Body and Soul - how our physical and spiritual or emotional make-up effect each other
