this difficult period of government cut-backs
in aid to the elderly, to families and to
social service agencies like ours, we need
all the help we can get. Meanwhile, despite
terror attacks here and even threats of war,
Alzheimer's disease continues its inexorable
degeneration, cutting short the mental life
of patients, and affecting increasing numbers
of families. Therefore MELABEV must go on
with its work of assisting these families,
and even expand on our services.
